Vision of YES PE
To transform the perception of Physical Education from a "period on a timetable" to a "pillar of
leadership." YES PE aims to decentralize sports excellence by identifying grassroot leaders and
integrating them into the ecosystem of India’s premier physical education institute.
Objectives of YES PE
- To promote sports-integrated learning in alignment with national education priorities.
- To identify talented and leadership-oriented students across India.
- To foster early engagement with sports science, coaching, and physical literacy.
- To develop a national network of youth ambassadors advocating sports and fitness.
- To strengthen LNIPE’s role as a national centre of excellence for grassroot physical education, sports education and leadership development.
